Hi everyone! I wanted to announce that as of today, Shattered Pieces will no longer be available through iBooks or Nook. I have decided to go exclusively with Amazon through their KDP select program. I truly believe this will allow me to reach more readers. Thank you for your continued support. If you do not have a Kindle, you can download the Kindle App to be able to continue reading.
Amazon KDP Select
Here it is. This is a sneak peek of Shattered Pieces. The release date is May 22nd. It is currently available for pre-order through Amazon and iBooks. The Nook version is not available for pre-order but will be available on the release date. It is available in Paperback from CreateSpace and Amazon. I hope you enjoy the book. Please remember to leave a review on Amazon and Goodreads.
A thin beam of moonlight streaming across the end of my bed is the only thing I can see in my bedroom. The light creeps up the wall as the door opens wider. I struggle to catch my breath as fear overtakes me, and adrenaline races through my body. My heart is pounding, and my ears are ringing from the pressure building in my head. A tall, dark figure walks into the corner of the room, and I gasp. I feel as if I’m suffocating. The figure moves closer to the bed. My lungs are frantically working, and my body shakes uncontrollably.
“I told you that I wouldn’t let you go,” his deep, raspy voice says.
I know that voice. I’ve heard it thousands of times over the last two years. The voice of a man I loved and trusted with my heart.
“Liam? What are you doing?” I manage to get out past the lump in my throat.
He lets out a deep, throaty laugh and makes his way to the bed. He stands over me, holding a single red rose. When I see his sinister eyes, I realize that he isn’t the man I fell in love with. That man is gone. A total stranger has replaced him.
“I told you I would never leave you alone. I made you a promise, and I intend to keep it.” Liam pulls something from behind his back, and the unmistakable sound of a gun being cocked fills the air.
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
